This training course consists of a classroom presentation and a written test followed by a hands-on skills testing session. The classroom portion focuses heavily on the safety, stability, and operational characteristics of today’s most commonly used Skid Steer loaders such as Caterpillar, Bobcat, John Deere, Mustang, Takeuchi and more. The hands-on portion is a great opportunity for growth as new and experienced operators learn, share and demonstrate new skills in a safe environment under the direct supervision of an industry leading expert instructor. Learning how to accurately inspect and operate machines and the relevant workplace before use, (a strong focus in this curriculum) is a key element in reducing workplace accidents and injury.
Finally, operators must pass a skills evaluation using current industry standards with approved documentation.
Successful candidates receive a Certificate of completion and a Photo ID Operators card valid for 3 years.
Applicable to Canada and US standards and regulations.

ISET’S Four Day Equipment Operator Boot Camp is one of a kind in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Attendees are typically familiar with Backhoes, Excavators, Wheel Loaders and Skid Steers, yet prior experience is NOT required.
Each day students spend up to four hours in class learning machine characteristics, safety parameters and specifics relative to each machine. After passing written tests, attendees go to our operating range where they get expert instruction from an industry leading Master Trainer. Students have up to four hours per day to practice and execute complex maneuvers with instant feedback, guidance, and video recordings on each machine.
Operators further benefit from video analysis of not only what they experienced in cab, but from several cameras around the facility. Our video analysis procedures allow students to see what they are doing and make adjustments quickly and effectively. This instant feedback removes countless hours of “trying to figure it out”.
ISET’s Boot Camp takes operators in depth on how to stockpile and distribute earth sand and gravel, working on slopes, rough and fine grading, trenching, excavating, underground hazard awareness, high voltage electrical hazard training, daily preventative maintenance, advanced operational techniques and so much more! Get off the sidelines watching those guys run the big gear and get enrolled in ISET’s Operator Boot Camp today. Satisfaction Guaranteed.
