ISET Academy  offers OSHA 10 Hour Training designed for all employees involved in construction industry. Enroll now thru January 6, 2016 and get CPR & AED lifesaver training for FREE on the second day!  Led by our very own Doctor Rebecca Ingram and John Rothe, this will be a valuable learning experience for all attendees.  Employees from entry level through top management are encouraged to attend.

According to OSHA 29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2), “The employer shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury.”

The OSHA 10 Hour course provides the desired general safety training for construction workers to help employers remain in compliance.

Training Times: OSHA requires the OSHA 10 to span 2 days

The training must take two days by federal mandate. Neither day can exceed 6.5 hours of instruction. Certification duration is determined by Federal, State or City regulation.

First Aid & CPR

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking and sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. This course also teaches adult CPR and AED use. Upon successful completion, students earn an American Heart Association Heartsaver Course Completion Card valid for two years.

Fall Protection

Fall Protection

This training provides a classroom presentation, hands-on practice and a written test and is intended for workers who are required to review and modify their fall protection solutions on a routine basis. Typical at-height duties may include working on a roof, from a ladder, in an aerial lift, or on other structures.

Respiratory Protection

The goal of this lesson is to familiarize workers who use respirators with the types of respiratory hazards that might be present at the worksite, with the methods used to protect workers from those hazards, and with the selection criteria and usage requirements for respirators. When respirators must be used in the workplace, the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) requires the employer to have a respiratory protection program that includes training about respiratory hazards and proper respirator use.
